Of primary importance to the residents of Las Cruces and Doņa Ana County and to those considering relocating to the area, is the quality and quantity of healthcare and medical facilities. We are fortunate to have an abundance of healthcare professionals as well as modern state of the art facilities.
The number of physicians in the area is quickly approaching 400 in thirty different specialties from Allergy to Urology including a large number of Family Practitioners and Pediatricians. Alliance Hospital at Santa Teresa and Mesilla Valley Hospital offer adult and adolescent psychiatric services. Nearly 50 dentists offer general care and specialty services and there are numerous ophthalmology and optometry practitioners to provide complete eye care services.
The information presented here is by no means to be considered comprehensive and should the medical requirements needed be unavailable locally, Las Cruces is situated within easy driving distance to other metropolitan areas that also have a wide variety of healthcare services.
